July 7th

Northwich Memorial Court

10.30 - 4.30

Free Entry

In a time of major changes in our high streets it is great to report a specialist retail business in Northwich is working hard to bring back that buzz to its corner of the high street, a business founded on old fashioned values that seem to have been lost in our age of instant gratification and click to buy culture.

Northwich Art Shop’s Grand Day Out on July 7th at Northwich Memorial Court is the latest community focused innovation from Phil Bower. Phil took over the Northwich Art shop in 2014 and is proud to continue serving and supporting the artistic community of mid Cheshire.

Grand Day Out is modelled on successful fairs held all over the country that focus on celebrating the mix of talent that exists in the local community. Providing a showcase for local professional and amateur artists and community societies Grand Day Out aims show the variety of work that comes out of mid Cheshire and welcomes several artists who work and exhibit on an international basis.

Phil Bower, owner of Northwich Art Shop says, “We have a wide range of art forms on display, from painters, woodturner and photographers to calligraphers and mosaicists. We are also pleased to welcome a full programme of demonstrators skilled in the art of “inspiring and enabling”.

Grand Day Out has been well supported by International and National brands including Winsor & Newton, Derwent, Tombow and Faber-Castell. Huge thanks too our local supporters and volunteers, including Visual Arts Cheshire and Northwich Business Improvement District team.
